Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share the challenging circumstances that John and family are currently navigating. He has been battling non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver for the past three years, rendering him unable to work. Adding to this, my mother, Cindy, recently endured a serious fracture in both bones of her lower leg/ankle, leading to an extended period away from work due to surgery and the healing process.

This unexpected decline in health has placed an immense financial burden on them. With both unable to work, the strain on resources has become overwhelming. He has now entered Hospice and just 4 days in is now non-verbal. Hospice does not expect him to leave much longer. I'm hopeful that my mom can focus on these last days with John and not have to worry about the costs associated with John's medical care and unfortunately, the potential expenses related to funeral arrangements.
