Emotional Support Dog Needs Our Support

For the better part of his life, this pure mini doxie Snoop has been a companion to our dear friend, artist, actor, and cat rescuer David Bronson. Bronson dedicated his life to protecting, feeding, and providing care for the least favorable outcast cats and left a legacy of his babies in happy and new forever homes. He had saved hundreds and hundreds of cats from disease, hunger, and destitution. His compassion had no limits.

Unfortunately, due to Bronson's untimely death in May 2022, he made no arrangements for his beloved and dedicated dog champion Snoop. Snoop needed emergency medical care. Upon receiving him, we thought that his circumstances would be hospice; to our surprise, all this distinguished doxie needed was hydration, a glucose curve to establish his insulin dosage, treatment for his wounds, and some loving support as he grieved the loss of his dad.

During his hospitalization, we were overwhelmed with joy when his blood tests came back strong, we did a full internal exam to check for cancer, his teeth, his back, etc. and he is very healthy!

Although Snoop is in good health overall, he is an older guy and requires care, love, and medical attention. He will need continued care for his diabetes, but note that for most dogs (and humans) this is a condition that is very, very treatable and will not slow him down. We would also like to budget to get his eyes fixed (his untreated diabetes has caused cataracts - again, very treatable), and like all doxies, he has back issues and would benefit from @calanimalrehab

Please join me in supporting this amazing creature and honoring his brave dad by giving Snoopy a life of comfort and celebrating a life well-lived.

Any overage donations will go to the cat rescue groups that David worked with; continuing his legacy to help those that can not advocate for themselves.

Special Thanks to VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital  who provided such amazing care.
