Hi, my name is Olivia and this is my cat Benjamin, who is almost 2! On June 18th, he was unusually lethargic and couldn’t hold down food and I learned he needed emergency surgery or he would slowly die. There’s a string in his intestines and that will slowly and painfully kill him. But he has a strong chance of surviving surgery, it’s just I’m an undergrad student with student loans so money is tight. I’m using this money to pay back a friend who’s lent me the expenses.

A lil more about Benny: his nicknames are Benj, Bennifer’s Jody, Stinky Butt, Baby Boy, and Grayby. He does respond to Benny and Baby Boy!!! He loves to fetch and climb on shoulders! He’s incredibly friendly and cuddly! He’s such a good emotional support animal since I have OCD and major depressive disorder.

I rescued him at Woodlands Pet Food and Treats in California when I worked there for about a year during quarantine. His name used to be Tweed, so Marin County people you may have seen him!
