I've created this for Baby Emory, Cierra and Liam because they need our help! They have substantial medical bills after being air lifted and having an emergency cesarean delivery at 30 weeks gestation that saved both Emory and Cierra's lives.
Cierra went to Sheridan Hospital Tuesday night 9/27/16 with a flush face and a discomfort in her abdomen. She was admitted that night to Sheridan with high blood pressure (230/117).. they decided then and there that Cierra needed to be life flighted to billings for monitoring, because of the high blood pressure they were scared she was going to go into a seizure. They put her on magnesium sulfate before they put her into the ambulance to the airport to try to bring down her blood pressure. They then put her on an airplane to Billings. During the flight, Emory's heart rate was slowly decreasing. They arrived in Billings and had to wait 45 minutes for the next ambulance to arrive. By that time baby's heart rate was in the low 100's. When she arrived at St. Vincents hospital, baby's heart rate was down in the 80's. He was in destress. Cierra was diagnosed with pre eclampsia which caused her to have a placenta abruption. They did an ultrasound and her doctor decided within 10 minutes of her being their that this was an extreme emergency, so they rushed her into surgery. They barely had time to put her on any anesthetic, she was put under general anesthesia. When they received baby Emory he had no heart rate, they resuscitated for 8 minutes. It is a miracle that mama and baby survived.
The hospital is over two hours from where Liam lives and works. He will be traveling there every weekend after work to see Cierra and the baby. Cierra is currently staying in her parents camper on the hospital grounds. This GoFundMe was created to help with gas bills, grocery bills, life flight and ambulatory bills,
Cierra's hospital bills for four days after an emergency c-section , and Emory's expected to be in NICU for about two months. The medical bills will be substantial. The average daily cost of NICU is about $5,000.
Please help as much as you can.
