My name is Tiffany, I am single mother of 3 beautiful girls. This is my beautiful middle daughter, Emonie. She just turned 19 years old this past Saturday during this admission. She has been very sick for the past year with multiple hospitalizations, and for the last month, she has been hospitalized in New Orleans Children’s Hospital. She finally has a diagnosis of SLE-Lupus and Lupus Nephritis. She is currently out of work. I am also not working while I am trying to be here with her as she is fighting for her life. I have been driving back-and-forth between Leesville to New Orleans 4 1/2 hours/205 miles one way for the past month trying to be with her as much as I can.
