Hi everyone! My name is Ella Padilla, and I am raising funds to compete in the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando, Florida.

 

I am a Junior at Volcano Vista High School and I have been in DECA for two years. DECA is an organization that teaches business and leadership skills through academic classes and competitions. My partner Gabby and I placed 1st in the New Mexico state DECA competition for our DrinkSafe Innovation Plan, where we talked about the growing risk of drink spiking and shared our plan for creating a safe and reliable product to help prevent it.

 

Winning the state DECA competition has given us the opportunity to compete at the ICDC in Orlando in April. I am honored to have this opportunity, and I would be incredibly grateful if you would help me raise money to cover the cost of airfare, hotel, and conference registration.

 

And who knows? If I do well at the international competition, I may even be able to make this product a reality!
