Please help Lori pay the extensive medical costs for Emmerson's surgery and chemotherapy treatments.
Lori opted for the Health Savings Account medical insurance plan which features low monthly premiums but high deductibles and co-pays. Obviously she would never have predicted something like this happening to her child.
The bill for Emmy's initial surgery to remove her kidney and Wilms tumor amounted to $4,000. We're estimating her 18 weeks of chemo to double that figure.
As you know, Lori is a single mom, receiving very limited child support. Lori, Emmerson, and her twin Ainsley, have been living with our retired parents since the girls were 2 months old. She was hoping to be able to move out of our parents' home this coming Spring, but the cost for Emmy's cancer treatment has likely moved that finish line back a few years.
