It is with a heavy heart that we communicate that our beloved Emmy passed away today at 9:15 am. After 2 months of fighting her illness, we lost one of our members of the Mater family.
We are organizing this GoFundMe fundraiser on behalf of Emmy Delgado and her family. Emmy Delgado joined our Mater Academy Charter Middle/High School family as a substitute and then, became known as Ms. MaterHelps while working at the Media Center. Emmy touched the lives of many of our students and faculty; she happily served others, always went the extra mile, and most importantly, treated our students and faculty with kindness and respect. 

 

As Emmy's Mater Family, we are requesting donations to cover her funeral costs so that her family may focus on recovering and honoring her rather than taking care of any financial burden.
