Help Emmie Heal: Urgent Surgery for a One-of-a-Kind Pup

I’m reaching out for help with something incredibly important to me. My dog, Emmie, has been living with a hernia for a long time—but recently, it has worsened and become a serious risk to her health. What was once stable is now urgent. Her vet has confirmed that incisional hernia surgery is necessary to prevent severe complications and keep her safe.

If you know Emmie, you know she’s no ordinary dog. She’s smart, demanding, silly, thoughtful, needy, and loving—a total character who makes her presence known and your heart fuller just by being near. Whether she’s bossing me around for snacks, deigning to sit in my lap for cuddles, or staring into your soul like she’s pondering the meaning of life, she’s got a personality that’s larger than life and impossible not to love.

The estimated cost for her surgery and post-operative care is $5,000.00. I’ve been doing everything I can to manage her medical needs, but I’m asking for support to help close the gap and get Emmie the care she urgently needs.
