Emmie's Ride to Rescue: Supporting NYC cat rescue groups

On a regular Thursday morning, a tiny kitten made an extraordinary journey — walking straight onto the 2 train in the heart of New York City. She was alone, scared, and ignored by most passengers. But that day, I saw her and I couldn’t leave her behind. Emmie's, short for MTA, story quickly went viral, capturing hearts around the world and reminding us all what it means to care, to act, and to help the voiceless. Now, Emmie’s journey is just the beginning.

I am partnering with my friend and local NY Animal Rescuer, @CandiceKumai, to give back, not to ourselves, but to the incredible NYC animal rescues that work tirelessly every day to care for abandoned, stray, and vulnerable animals like Emmie.
