To be very honest, I have been trying very hard to avoid music, specifically recording, since I was a young girl. That may not seem very obvious to those that know me because I have been singing, and encouraged to sing since I was very small. There was an evident, and unavoidable calling on my life and no matter how I tried to be in the background singing all the "oohs" and the "ahhhs" (I love the "oohs" and the "ahhs" by the way) I feel a tremendous burden to finally step up and release my first EP.
Recently God sent Gospel Music Group Entertainment Corporation (GMG) to help me come from behind the scenes to the forefront. I've had great support from wonderful writers and musicians to get this project going. At this time I have 6 beautiful songs that God's people MUST hear. But... it takes tangible resources for any ministry to continue to grow and flourish. I am asking for your support in meeting the financial requirements of recording an album. Every dollar of your contribution will go towards studio time, mixing and mastering of the project, production (which includes live instrumentation and it costs money to pay individual musicians), and the distribution fees. *Every person that donates to this project will receive a digital download of the first single before it is released to the public. *For anyone that contributes $1000 or more, I am willing to come to your city and do a concert for your church (or local organization). [Continental US only + Travel/Lodging will need to be considered] - Let me tell you a little bit about the music (teary eyed while typing this). These worship songs that were written for this project are songs that came directly from God. According to Zephaniah 3:17, God is singing and dancing all around us, even while we are unaware. One of the songwriters told me that when she was writing these songs, in a very deep depression, she asked God, "What songs are you singing over me? I want to hear them." God responded with the words to the songs I'm recording for this EP. You don't just want to hear these songs. You NEED to hear these songs. This is music that will restore, heal, deliver you, and set you free. In addition 25 plus percent of the profit of this EP will be donated in my son's name (Jaxon Phillip) to a wonderful organization by the name of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. Their mission: To introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture. Their Work: NILMDTS trains, educates, and mobilizes professional quality photographers to provide beautiful heirloom portraits to families facing the untimely death of an infant. We believe these images serve as an important step in the family's healing process by honoring the child's legacy. Thank you, in advance, for your contribution.
