Emme's Continuing Care: Your Help Matters

Hi, I’m Cody, proud mom of my Grumpy Princess, Emme. Emme will be 16 this summer, and we’ve spent 15 amazing years together! Despite her age, she’s still playful, cuddly, and full of sass.

Last year was incredibly tough for both of us. Early in the year, Emme got pancreatitis after having a partial obstruction, which led to diagnosis of diabetes, and her ongoing care has been a financial challenge. On top of this, I faced personal losses later in the year: the devastating loss of my sister, a car accident, getting laid off, and an injury—all within months. While I’m working hard to recover and secure stable employment (I'm just waiting for my start date!!), I need help to keep up with Emme’s medical and everyday needs.

Her monthly care, including vet visits, medications, prescription food, and litter, costs around $275/month. I’m hoping to raise enough to cover the next 2–3 months so she can continue thriving while I get back on my feet - my new job pays biweekly, so I may not see my first paycheck for weeks.

Emme has brought me so much joy in the 15 years we've been together so far, and I want to ensure her golden years are as comfortable as possible. Any contribution helps - thank you for supporting my best friend during this time!
