Emma's Last Wish: A Peaceful Farewell
This is Emma. My girl, my smoosh, the sweetest lady. I adopted her September 12th, 2023 in New Orleans. She is an absolute angel , and I'm so glad we got to spend the last year and a half together. Before I got her, her forever person had just passed away. She needed all the love and I hope that's what I was able to give her.
I'm so sad to say it, but our time together is coming to an end. Emma was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive cancer, and had her spleen removed on December 27th, 2023. The vet gave her 3 to 4 months to live, but thankfully, she wanted to stay longer. ❤️
Fast forward to a year later and her cancer has spread to her brain. The vet prescribed her meds and we got it under control for a while. But now her seizures have started up again and her dementia has progressed to the point that she's spending more time struggling than she is enjoying her time here.
So it's time for me to say goodbye. I would really love to give my girl a proper send off. I know the world is terrifying right now and most if not all of us are struggling, but if you could share this or spare anything to help me say goodbye Emma and I would appreciate it so much.
Thank you for reading her story. Any funds donated will be put towards CBD, proper feasts, getting her out to the coast one last time, her end of life costs, and her cremation.
