Hello everyone and Bonjour à les gens de le monde,
I am raising money to participate in a foreign exchange program in Belgium. This is a trimester program in which students participate in the education system in a country of choice. Although, I applied for a scholarship which went to someone else I want to raise money so that I can go and participate in this wonderful experience.
I have always loved school and consider myself a pretty good student, as I have mostly A's. I love to learn and want to soak up many new experiences. As well as having a love for learning I have caught quite the travel bug! I love to travel and have traveled before. I enjoy being able to explore new places and immersing myself in new cultures. As many consider where I live a "bubble" I want to be able to explore as many places as possible. In a world of hatred for those who are from other countries, is it not important to visit as many places as possible? By studying in Belgium I will be able to understand and learn about the culture as well as practice my French skills as most of the school will be in French! This is an amazing opportunity that I do not want to give up because of financial reasons. I hope that you will be able to support me and help me reach my goal to participate in this program!
