Emma's Fight: Help Her Heal and Thrive
Donation protected
Hello, this is very difficult for me to do because I am a stubborn person, but I also know when it’s time to ask for help… My name is Emma, I am 37, soon to be 38, and I recently had a total hysterectomy to help with my other health conditions and to get rid of a cancerous mass. I am currently unable to go back to work for a while. The surgery itself cost a lot, and as a bartender/server, I didn’t exactly have a backup plan savings-wise.
I am a wife and a mom to 3 boys, and having to tell them that we don’t have the money to buy groceries and certain things is absolutely heartbreaking. My husband works a good job, but after insurance and taxes, it’s barely enough to keep the bills from doubling up. I am not the type of person to just openly ask for help or money, but after the surgery itself caused me to go straight into menopause, and that is leading to more stress and anxiety. This may be a long shot, but I wholeheartedly believe that kindness still exists and that karma will work its magic.
I pray every day for a miracle or a speedy recovery so I can go back to work, but I’ve been told by my doctor that I will essentially undo all the progress I’ve made. If you know me, then you know that I am a kind, caring, and loving human being who will do for others before I do for myself, and I’m also not one for just sitting at home feeling like I’m not able to contribute. I just pray that this reaches the right people so I can focus on recovery and my family. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated and will be paid forward once I’m back on my feet. Thank you in advance, I hope everyone has a blessed day ❤️
