Hi, my name is Cladia. I am the sole provider of my three children (6yrs,3yrs,10month old). I am fundraising because my 3-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome/Preleukemia last August. If she didn't get a bone & marrow transplant, it could have led to leukemia. She underwent a bone & marrow transplant and is still not fully recovered. Due to her chemotherapy, she got liver failure and ended up in the ICU on May 14. As if that wasn't enough, she contracted rhinovirus and the original coronavirus due to her low immune deficiency. The worst part is that Emma has fungus around her lungs called aspergillus, the fungs managed to get in her lungs, and the left lung collapsed, so now she has pneumonia. She can not breathe entirely on her own without an oxygen mask.
Our story is too long, so at the end of this message, I would love to share our youtube page and the Instagram page I have started for EmmaRose. I would love to share Emma's journey with the world to provide insight into what cancer patients go through and their families. I ask for your help as I cannot work because Emma needs my care 24/7. We have been surviving on my income tax money and unemployment because I was laid off in November due to covid and no work. It has been challenging, and Emma has been in the hospital much longer than anticipated. I'm asking for help. Not only to pay bills but to also find a healthier place for Emma to live when she gets out of the hospital where she can have her sanitized room. Emma's journey will be a long fight I want to share with the world because Emma is not your regular three year old SHE WILL, and SHE CAN make a difference in this world.
