Emmanuel Baxter's Medical Flight Home

Emmanuel Baxter always has a smile on his face and a song in his heart. No matter where he is, or who he is around, it seems that his sole purpose in life is to make others feel and know the love of God.  He has five biological children but is a father to literally dozens of men, and women.  No matter what pain he is personally experiencing he will always make time and space for you. 

Emmanuel and beloved wife of thirty-nine years Judee were visiting their daughter in Denver, Colorado who had just had a surgery when Emmanuel fell drastically ill. He was rushed to the urgent care facility and then to the hospital where he underwent several life saving procedures. After over a month long stay in the University of Colorado ICU he is ready to come home and continue his treatment at a local facility where he can be closer to his community full of friends who through a lifetime of love and devotion have become family.

The condition that Emmanuel is in is extremely critical and time is not our friend right now. His insurance company has only approved for so much in the way of treatment and no more. He needs the strength and power that the smiles and love from his grandkids and many many friends back home in Tulsa will be able to give him.     

We know this is a big ask but Emmanuel raised us to always have faith in God and faith in the goodness in people.
