On Friday, June 12th, we lost Emmalyn, the daughter of the most amazing parents, James and Anna, and a best friend to the rest of us.
For being five years old, she had the capacity to love and understand us in ways words cannot describe. Her passing has completely broken our hearts and we are all, in our own ways, trying our best to navigate this devastation. This is something we never thought we would have to experience, and we are all in complete shock, but Emmalyn and her family need us most right now.
Emmalyn would stop what she’s doing to be there for any of us and now it is up to us to be there for her one last time. Out of respect for Emmalyn’s family/parents, we will give them the time that they need to pray and mourn as we work collectively to organize and fund for her funeral and to help them through this tragedy.
If you can spare even a dollar, please help us by donating. 100% of the donations will go towards Emmalyn’s medical bills, her funeral service, and grief counseling for her family. Diana Dao, Emma's aunt, will be managing the final expenses.
