Emma Cobb Fraley Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Emma Mae Cobb Fraley peacefully transitioned from labor to reward at the home surrounded by children, family, and friends on Monday, November 16, 2015 after battling a respiratory/lung disease. Known for her infectious wit and genuine wisdom, "Mother Fraley" knew no stranger and loved everybody without reservation, teaching her lineage and all who knew her in the same way. She won the hearts of many of her children and grandchildren's friends (and even some enemies) and everyone who knew her could speak on how something she has said or done has impacted them and their life.
Home going services are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Davis Chapel MB Church in Washington, NC. This is due to the extensive travel arrangements of her immediate family from as far as Washington State and Hawaii, which were all scheduled to be home for Thanksgiving. Due to the overwhelming request from co-workers, friends, and family desiring to give, the family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations are provided via the “GoFund Me” campaign in order to help secure travel and lodging of the immediate family (children and grandchildren), including some who are having to doubleback due to another death and funeral in our immediate being held in Colorado this weekend. While Mother Fraley's service, burial, and final expenses are secured, she would not have it any other way than to ensure all her children, grandchildren, and great granchildren are together during this time of bereavement.
The family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support shown thus far as we deal with the loss of our mother, sister, grand/great grandmother, aunt, and dear friend! Cards and letters of support may be mailed to Attn: The Fraley/Cobb Family, PO Box 476, Grimesland, NC 27537.
For questions or additional information, please contact anyone of the children or her son, Judson Fraley at [phone redacted] or [email redacted].
