GOOD MORNING and thank you to everyone who has donated..
I wanted to let you know that we have reduced what Emma needs after talking with Carmen (hopefully there are no additional costs).
Also Grammie, RICK and Peggy, Trish and Frank, and Dianne and Bob are all donating $5000/each.
Any donation is appreciated.....literally any. We need more donations and I think we all should be apart of this no matter if it's $5 or $5000. Let's get together in this time of need and help. Please.
Emma, who had a stroke a long time ago is now in need of our help. We need to raise enough money so that she can have her tiny apartment modified and renovated since she is fast losing her ability to walk. As we all know her little kitchen is on the one floor but her bedroom and only bath is down a metal spiral staircase.
She needs to have a bedroom and bath on the first floor. The cost to do this is about $70,000 and they qualify for a loan of only $40,000. The only income coming into the house is government aid and what Carmen makes. It's not enough. All of us have seen her smile of pride and her heart swell with love as she lays her eyes on any one of us. She is truly a special person in our lives. Now we all must help. Anything within our means is necessary and small donations will add up. I am sending this to every family member and I know we can get to our goal. Please act quickly as the need is now.
