Sweet Baby Emma

If you know Emma Rose Barba you know she is a ball of sunshine. Her smile can light up a city! On Saturday 14th, just a day before our lovely Emma was coming back from Mexico she started vomiting and was diagnosed with intussusception. This is a condition where the intestines telescopes itself, for unknown reasons. After her surgery was performed, they found liquid around her lungs which caused her to have lack of oxygen to her brain. Emma was put on a breathing machine. The hospital she was at did not have the proper equipment to take care of her, so they transferred her to another hospital. She is currently in the ICU.

We are looking to get her back in an air ambulance from San Luis Potosí, Mexico to Houston, Texas which can cost from 18,000 to 30,000 with a medical crew.

They say that the worst thing in life, for a parent, is to see their child suffering. Unfortunately Emma’s parents, Francisco and Emily Barba, are going through that stage right now.

If you are able to, we would greatly appreciate your support through a charitable donation. There is no minimum donation, and any amount you can provide will go a long way towards helping Emma’s medical costs.

Would also like to request you to please encourage a friend, relative, neighbor, co-worker or anyone in your network to help support this noble cause. If you’re on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter, please feel free to spread the word. Thank you for taking the time to read and thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Above all things, please keep this family in your prayers. Praying for a complete, miraculous speedy recovery of Emma’s health.
