Help Emma Rise from the Ashes

Donation protected
In the early hours of April 2, 2023 a devastating fire broke out in a section of the North High Ridge Apartments. All 28 units burned to the ground.

Emma awoke to banging on her door and a warning to get out. Acting fast, she was thankfully able to grab her beloved dog Biscuit, a pair of shoes, and her purse as she rushed out of the building. While all residents made it out, several animals did not. She was very fortunate.

Any friend of Emma's will tell you she’s someone you can count on. When the going gets tough, she’ll be by your side - no matter what she’s going through herself. That’s just the kind of person she is. Emma challenges herself every day to be better - to create a culture of love, support, and safety around her. It’s our time to return that juju and help her overcome her biggest obstacle yet.

We don’t know what the immediate future looks like, but we know she needs support. She lost everything. All of her artwork, her clothes, every piece of furniture and home goods down to a spatula. While many things can’t be replaced, she was able to get out with the one irreplaceable item in her apartment - Biscuit. All funds raised will go to Emma's relocation and to help rebuild the home she has spent years building.

Emma’s a fighter and if the last few years have shown us anything about her character - she’s going to persevere through this … just as she has everything else. Let’s do our part to help Emma rise from the ashes of 2023.
