Emma and Michelle raise money for dementia
In a few weeks time, myself and my expedition buddy, Michelle, are canoeing down the Zambezi River. This river is 2700 km long and travels through 6 countries. It’s full of dangers including crocodiles, hippos and rapids. The whitewater is the most challenging in the world!
As part of this challenge we are raising money in aid of The Lewy Bodies Dementia Society and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our entire family. My dad is currently suffering the consequences of this terrible disease.
The charity is working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They hope to do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime.
More information about The Lewy Body Society: The Lewy Body Society is a registered charity dedicated solely to Lewy body dementia #LBD. Our mission is to raise #awareness & fund #research
