Hey I'm Emma, I'm a 28 year old woman who is battling through with chronic illness (Fibromyalgia and Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos). These conditions encompass a large number of symptoms including chronic pain, chronic fatigue and mobility issues.

After discussing with my doctors and specialists, it has come to the point where I will be needing a wheelchair to get around. I have been assessed for a wheelchair which will best suit my needs, however they are not cheap.

I am currently unable to work due to my health and not being supported through NDIS at this time. I am at the early stages with my application for NDIS however this can be a long journey, exasparated by my lack of mobility.

Without the financial support I need, I am unable to cover the cost of the wheelchair I need and therefore requesting help from anyone who can afford to donate.

Currently I am unable to leave the house without assistance and cause myself further pain and injury when I try to manage alone. This has lead me to become quite isolated and stuck at home,

missing my independence and not being able to get some sun and enjoy being outside.

With this wheelchair, I hope to regain some independence, allow me to be safer and enjoy getting outside again.
