Emma Marie’s Medical Journey

Donation protected
At Mary’s 20-week prenatal ultrasound, she and her husband Chris, received news that changed everything — their unborn daughter, Emma Marie, was diagnosed with spina bifida. Since then, they’ve faced a whirlwind of doctor appointments, extensive testing, and consultations with specialists. Now, Mary and Emma are preparing for prenatal surgery on May 14th in hopes of improving Emma’s quality of life.

Following the surgery, Mary will be hospitalized for at least five days and then placed on modified bedrest for the remainder of her pregnancy. When the time comes, Emma will be delivered via C-section and immediately admitted into the NICU, where the specialists at Cincinnati Children’s hospital say she will require intensive medical care for at least 3-4 weeks.

We are so excited to meet Emma Marie and celebrate her arrival, but we also know the road ahead will be filled with emotional and financial challenges. We are humbly asking for your support to help ease some of the financial burdens associated with the surgery, hospital stays, and ongoing care for both Mary and baby Emma.

No amount is too small, and every gift is deeply appreciated and received with love. Most importantly, we ask that you keep Mary, Chris, Victoria, Natalie and baby Emma in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the months ahead. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean the world to our family.

In the event any funds would not be needed for Emma’s care, they will be donated back to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
