Please Help Emma’s Family During This Heartbreaking Time

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news of Emma’s passing.

Emma was a lovely woman, well known and loved by many in the South Shields area. She was so excited to go on holiday to Fuerteventura, looking forward to enjoying her time away.

Tragically, while on holiday, Emma suffered a massive stroke. She was rushed by ambulance to hospital, but due to the severity of the stroke, she had to be airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Gran Canaria, where she underwent emergency surgery.

Sadly, the damage to Emma’s brain was too severe, and despite the medical team’s efforts, Emma passed away on Friday at 10:32, with myself and Julie by her side.

No words can describe the heartbreak of losing someone so suddenly, especially when they were simply looking forward to enjoying a holiday.

Emma’s family are now facing the unimaginable pain of losing someone they love, alongside the added financial burden of arranging her funeral.

Everyone at Last Orders, South Shields, wants to do everything we can to support Emma’s family during this incredibly difficult time. We have set up this GoFundMe to help raise money towards her funeral costs and ease some of the pressure on her loved ones.
