In the early morning of April 22, Kate passed away from the complications from a seizure nearly a week earlier. The staff at Lakeridge Oshawa, Lakeridge Ajax and Toronto General used all of their skills and talent to try to save her but they were unsuccessful.

According to Kate's wishes, there will be no funeral. Instead, there will be a celebration of life on April 27, 2024.

Kate's remains will be interred at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery at the intersection of Thornton and Columbus.

Kate will be painfully missed forever by her mom and dad, Lynn and Todd Doyle.

Her sense of humour and her ability to bring a smile to just about everyone will also be missed by her friends, family and kitties Luna & Weenie.

Your donation will help alleviate the financial burdens that come with unexpected loss, allowing Lynn and Todd to focus on supporting each other and preserving the memory of their beloved daughter.

Any additional funds raised will be donated to Epilepsy Durham in memory of Kate Doyle.
