Team Emma

Emma Jean, daughter of Katrina and Dan Joesten, little sister to Henry has been spending her days and nights at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, with her parents by her side. Katrina is an ICU nurse at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, Dan is working on his PhD in history at UCSC. Emma is 18 months old and has a brain tumor.
Sweet Emma Jean has a golf-ball sized tumor in the pineal region of her brain. She has had a biopsy of the tumor and they are awaiting the results to determine treatment options.
