Emma Grace Diaz-Palacios

Hi, my name is Carla and I'm fundraising for Emma.

In August 2022, our world was turned upside down when our grandbaby, Emma Grace Diaz Palacios, was sent off-island for a life-saving medical emergency. At just 1 year old, she had to endure a tumor and fluid removal from her head at Guam Memorial Hospital. She was then transported to Kapi'olani Medical Center in Hawaii for treatment. Upon further treatments and tests at Kapi'olani Medical Center, she was diagnosed with ATRT. So far, she went through two cycles of chemotherapy since landing in Hawaii and continues to need further treatment.

There are times when she has had difficulties and challenges through the treatments, but she continues to fight hard and pull through - our little warrior. Because of the uncertainty and fear of what tomorrow might bring, she has to stay in Hawaii for an extended period of time.

Everything is happening so quickly and we are not financially prepared for the challenges and difficulties of the situation that we currently face and have yet to face; therefore, we created this GoFundMe page for anyone who would like to help Emma Grace in her fight against ATRT.

We, Emma Grace's family, are so grateful for all the support that our families, friends, community members, and even strangers continue to show through prayers, donations, and the outpour of love.
