My Pop Pop and Grandmom

I am not sure if you are aware but my grandmother’s cousins were at The Tree of Life Synogogue the day a mad man filled with hatred and anti-sematism shot 11 innocent people. My grandmom, Nancy Oppenheimer- Ellenbogen is heartbroken. She went to Tree of Life as a child. She was Bat Mitzvah’d there. Her 97 year old first cousin, Rose Mallinger was shot in the head and killed. Rose Mallinger’s daughter was praying next to her and was shot in the shoulder and arm. She is still recovering. For my mitzvah project I would like to help raise money for The Tree of Life Synogogue in my Grandmom’s and her cousins’ names. Rose’s daughter and my grandmom Nancy have to try to absorb this horrible tragedy and their incredible loss.
