Hi Team,

Reaching to rally for Emma who is heading to Vale Di Sole, Italy to Race the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships where she'll be representing the USA, the PNW and most importantly Sweetlines Racing. Wow! Congratulations Emma!

I've set up this go fund Emma so we can all take part in her journey and to get behind her as a show of support for an awesome young woman who has worked incredibly hard for this opportunity.

Val Di Sole is known to be the most challenging course in World Championships and on the World Cup circuits. There is some great footage on YouTube, check it out.

The Ask

I've already confirmed with two families that they will support Emma with a donation of $200 each. Great start! But $400 is only a start, lets raise the bar not only of cash but support for the Artz Family from all of us.

Here's a breakdown of the cost.

Emma is a level 2 Self-Funded racer, that means there is a $750 fee. This includes: competition clothing, food & lodging, ground transportation to and from the event, all mechanical and race support as well as TravMed insurance during her trip. Pretty Cool!

However airfare and incidentals are not covered.

Based on today's Expedia rates airfare is between $1,300 and $1,600 for one person round trip.

Too, Emma needs an expedited passport $75+ everything has been arranged to get the passport but maybe one of you will cover that cost.

If you've been following Emma on Instagram you'll know she's been riding and racing nearly every day for the past 2 months. Let's face it, the Norco Aurum needs a full service grips to knobby. $250+ parts

In addition even though Emma will be supported with world class USA Cycling mechanics at the race it would be a good idea to send Emma with some new tires and a spare set of STAN's rims. Just to cover the bases.

The Breakdown

It would be great to send Emma off fully backed by this awesome community here's a breakdown of the expenses we hope to cover.

$1300 - one Round trip ticket (Send a parent for another $1,300)

$75 Expedited Pass Port

$500 Full bike service & new tire/components

The comes out to $2,625
