Emma and Nigel’s journey ❤️

As you may all be aware by now this beautiful couple and their wonderful daughter are facing the most heart breaking and horrendous future. In June 2023 Nigel was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Despite many treatments and major surgery there is nothing more that Nigel can do to try and win his fight he has now withdrawn from treatment due to the horrific side effects it came with and has made the decision to live the remainder of his time with his beautiful wife and Ellie their daughter at his side. During this awful time Emma suddenly became ill herself. She quickly became disabled due to the loss of use in her legs. Emma has been through rigorous invasive testing and has today had the heartbreaking diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) this comes with a devastating life expectancy of 2-3 years. As you can imagine the family are distraught and Ellie is facing the most heart breaking future right now. Losing both your parents at the age of 21 just isn’t fair. They are the most wonderful family who have devoted their whole lives to one another and are now being taken away in the cruelest way!

So I am here today to ask for your help. Their house needs transforming completely to assist with Emma’s mobility. She needs rails, a bathroom transformation and possibly a wet room!! But none of this is funded also let’s help them make some beautiful memories and ensure some financial stability for what is going to be a very emotional journey. Anything you can give will be so gratefully received.

Life is so cruel so let’s show them all just how loved and wonderful they truly are.
