Emma’s 44k in May!
I’m running 44k (yes, really!) - Please help me help the Irish Cancer Society.
Hi my name is Emma McIlroy and this May I am doing something kinda crazy… I’m going to run 44 kilometers!
Why 44k? Because every year in Ireland 44,000 people get told they have cancer. That’s way too many. And even though I’m only 12 I know people who are struggling/have struggled including my Granny, Granda, Papa and a good friend and her husband. So I’m running to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society - they help people with cancer and do loads of research to find a cure.
I believe every little bit helps. If you can, please donate and cheer me on! I’ll be thinking of the 44,000 with every step I take.
Thanks so much!
