Our dear beloved friend, Emi, passed away June 10th after undergoing months of cancer treatment. Our hearts are broken, but we are comforted knowing that Emi was surrounded by her dog Kitti, friends, chosen family, and love in her last days.

For decades, Emi worked on issues spanning the topics of intersex, trans, queer, disability, gender-based violence, sex trade, and feminism. Emi's impact is innumerable and vast- so many lives have been touched and lifted up by her advocacy and movement work. We plan on bringing together the many across the world who were impacted by Emi in memorial.
