Hello! My name is Emi and I am looking to receive gender-affirming care. I wish to live in “stealth mode.” I identify as nonbinary. Unfortunately, with the new government my insurance plan no longer covers gender affirming care, even for adults. So I am creating a GoFundMe for the following procedures:

• Hysterectomy: This would stop periods and remove the bump on the stomach where the uterus is. As I am not going on testosterone, this is a pivotal procedure to stop the unnecessary bleeding and would be incredibly gender-affirming. Ovaries will be kept.

• Top Surgery: This surgery has come after 8 years of debating, and it has recently come to an end with the verdict that it needs to be done. My chest is incredibly difficult to live with, and I wish to get rid of it ASAP. I have done lots of research and found someone who would do the procedure—Dr. Blechman in NY.

• Masculinization Liposuction: As I am not going on testosterone, I would keep a feminine shape and fat distribution. With the liposuction, I can change that permanently by getting rid of thighs, hips, and neck fat cells.

ALL THESE PROCEDURES HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY A DOCTOR AND PSYCHIATRIST FOR ME

I hope to be getting these procedures next year and am currently working 2 jobs to work towards this financially. Unfortunately, with student, credit, and other mental health-related debt, I won’t be able to afford these.

It has come to my attention that to continue living and be myself, I need this done ASAP.
