Emily's Tuition Fee Fundraiser

Hello everyone,

My name is Emily Bottomer and I am humbly asking for help to cover the costs of my master's degree. Last year, I received the amazing news that I had been offered an unconditional place to study for a Master in Fine Art at University College London’s Slade School of Fine Art, one of the most prestigious art schools in the world.

I have always dreamt of studying at this particular university, and now I’m within touching distance. This is genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and the thought of losing this chance because of my socioeconomic status breaks my heart.

The fees for this two-year master's programme come to a total of £28200. I'm due to start this course in September but I simply cannot afford it alone.

I may be able to get a scholarship to help cover living costs, alongside the c. £12000 loan from Student Finance England. But if I can at least cover the tuition fees, I’ll be one step closer to achieving my dreams.

UPDATE 28/08/2023

I’m very, very happy to announce that I’ve been offered a scholarship to study a MA in fine art at Central Saint Martins!! This scholarship, alongside the money raised through my Go Fund Me, means that I won’t have to pay a penny in tuition fees for my first year!!

I’m absolutely over the moon!

I know I initially had my heart set on the Slade, but the stars have aligned and the universe has guided me elsewhere. I’m so excited for September watch this space. I’m coming for you London

All that’s left are my tuition fees for the second year of my masters at CSM, commencing in the 24/25 academic year. Any further donations will go straight towards this.
