Emily's NYT REP 2024 Fund

Hello lovely people,

My name is Emily and recently I have been selected to be a part of The National Youth Theatre's Rep Company 2024. It's an amazing opportunity and I am very excited for this next step in my career and craft as an actor and performer.

The NYT REP Company is FREE (!) which is amazing but although the course is free to do, living in London is not. NYT REP is a full-time and intensive course so I won't be able to work for the duration of the course so, I am fundraising to raise money to go towards rent, utilities, and food expenses while I do the course.

What is NYT REP Company?

The REP aims to prepare NYT Members for a successful career as an actor. REP Members have previously been mentored by industry professionals and received Q&As and classes from visiting tutors and partners including the National Theatre, BBC Radio Drama, and the Royal Court to name a few.

The first 2 months of the course will be training with a break in August which will give me a chance to do more fundraising. We pick back up in September where up until December, we will do two plays performing them in the UK; one of which will be in the West End. And then in the new year, we will do a filmed piece and have a showcase evening.

A little bit about me...

I have been acting for over 5 years and have trained in two part-time drama schools; one being RAaW London where I also often teach comedy. And, not forgetting, NYT where I did my Intake course in 2022.

I have had some really good opportunities in my career so far like commercials and a few short films but, I have big goals for myself and I still have a long way to go.

When doing NYT Rep, agents, and casting directors are invited to attend the REP Season so this course is not just an amazing opportunity to evolve as an actor but to also be seen by the industry.

I know it's a tough time right now but I can promise you all the money raised will go toward supporting me during my time on the course. It's also my birthday in the first month of training so if you would like to give me a donation as a cheeky birthday present, I won't stop ya ;)

I'm so excited to push myself and my capabilities and make everyone supporting me proud. This is what I'm doing with my life, I choose not to do anything else but what I love, and what I am passionate about.
