Emily's Medical Expense

I'm Emily Gilbert's "Grandma." Emily was in a serious snowmobile accident on Sunday. She is at Barbara Bush Children's hospital at Me Med. with multiple injuries. She will walk again, but it's going to be a long recovery. Her parents and stepparents have been staying with her. (Amanda Kolln- Mom and stepdad Todd Kolln and her Dad David Gilbert and stepmom Stacy Gilbert) The money raised will go to the parents to help with expenses for travel and dining because they are unable to work and be there too. There will also be some modifications that will have to be done to the home because she will be "non-weight bearing" for several weeks. Emily is a very kind-hearted little girl, but she is a fighter and will fight her way to recovery. She just turned 12 on Feb. 16th. She is a 6th grade GT student at Mt Valley Middle School.
