Emily's Legacy: Love and Organ Donation

On November 20th 2024 my niece Emily was in a tragic car accident on her way home. And unfortunately was left in a vegetative state as well as losing her boyfriend in the accident. Emily loved to draw, watch anime, and play video games. She loved her bonding time and daily talks with her mom and calling her dad to talk and bond about their nerdy stuff. (I say nerdy because I know absolutely nothing about it lol) She loved her siblings beyond words and was an amazing big sister. She was excited about being an aunt and was soon to be made an aunt of 2. After lots of tests and almost 2 weeks in the hospital my Sister n law and Brother had to make one of the hardest decisions they've ever had to make in their life. Deciding to let Emily gain her wings and be with her Pawpaw's. They also made the decision to donate Emily's organs and for sure already have matches for her liver, heart, and lungs. To keep on what Emily always done and help people and love them with every fiber of her being. On top of funeral expenses my sister n law and bread winner of the house has had to take off work to be by Emily's side as much as possible while still trying to maintain everyday responsibilities and life in general.
