Emily is a stay at home Mom and homeschools her four children. Emily was having pain in her jaw and was diagnosed with a tumor on her left condylar bone. This has led to the shifting of her jaw to such a degree that her teeth no longer line up, causing inability to chew food well and pain. If not surgically removed the tumor will continue to grow and the joints will continue to degenerate further impacting her ability to breathe, speak, eat, and hear.
The seven hour surgery will remove the tumor and damaged joints and a prosthetic jaw joint will be added. The right side of her jaw will have to be split in half and separated to align her face and then held together with hardware. Her jaw will be wired shut as she heals.
Her surgeon is out of network and they have to pay $30,000 upfront to the surgeon before her jaw prosthetic is ordered and surgery can be scheduled.
Please considering helping out this amazing lady and her family as they work toward the removal of this tumor.
Emily has found comfort and joy in painting and would like to offer up one of her paintings to a randomly drawn donor. Any and all help is appreciated.
