My name is Emily Valentina Velazco and I am 18 months old. You may think I’m young but I have a lot to share.
I like to sing & dance, books, stuffed animals and love playing in the beach with my family.
As mommy and Daddy’s long yearned princess, I like wearing dresses with a matching purse and sunglasses.
I have a dog named Sassy (yes, she has adapted my personality) and 5 older brothers. As the youngest (and brightest), I bear the responsibility of looking out for them.
Despite my short age, I have always been told I am ahead of my time with a quick-witted personality. I know my adventure has just begun and I am excited to see what tomorrow brings.

I am reaching out to you with a plea straight from the depths of my heart. My daughter is fighting for her life after a drowning incident over Sunday, Easter day. She’s only 18 months old and is fighting against overwhelming odds.
As her mom, I’m overwhelmed. Emily’s treatment is prepaid and our funds are quickly exhausting. We simply don’t have the means to continue covering treatment on our own since she has extensive treatments ahead of her.
That’s why I’m turning to you, our amazing community, for help.

Mi nombre es Emily Valentina Velazco y tengo 18 meses. Quizás pienses que soy joven pero tengo mucho que compartir.
Me gusta cantar y bailar, los libros, los peluches y me encanta jugar en la playa con mi familia.
Como la anhelada princesa de mamá y papá, me gusta usar vestidos con un bolso y gafas de sol a juego.
Tengo una perrita llamada Sassy (sí, ha adaptado mi personalidad) y 5 hermanos mayores. Como el más joven (y el más brillante), tengo la responsabilidad de velar por ellos.

Me dirijo a ustedes con una súplica directamente desde lo más profundo de mi corazón. Mi hija está luchando por su vida después de un incidente de ahogamiento el domingo, día de Pascua. Sólo tiene 18 meses y lucha contra todo pronóstico.
Como su madre, estoy abrumada. El tratamiento de Emily es prepago y nuestros fondos se agotan rápidamente. Simplemente no tenemos los medios para continuar cubriendo el tratamiento por nuestra cuenta ya que ella tiene tratamientos extensos por delante.
