I am the mother of Emily Mejia. My 15-year-old daughter was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene early Sunday morning, April 27, 2025. She was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest Hospital and is currently on life support.

UPDATE: My daughter passed away today, May 1, 2025, at around 8:30 am.

I intend to repatriate her remains to Honduras and would sincerely appreciate any donation that you can make for this purpose.
