Help Me Share My Worship Songs

Hi, I'm Emily—a vocal performance student who has loved singing and writing songs for as long as I can remember.

For years, my singing journey was very public, but my songwriting was always very private. I wrote about school stress, fleeting crushes, and growing up. But during my senior year, something shifted. In a season of hardship and confusion, when I couldn't find the words to express what I was feeling, I turned to songwriting as a way to communicate with God.

Even after that difficult season passed, I kept writing songs to God—songs of questions, rejoicing, gratitude, anger, and awe of His glory. Songwriting became my sacred space with the Lord, and I always assumed that's where these songs would stay.

Then my friend and co-producer, Izzie Thom, heard my songs and convinced me that I need to share them with others. After much prayer and discernment, it became clear: God was calling me to record these songs and share them with others and to give these songs back to His people.

Here's Where I Need Your Help

Producing music involves significant costs: studio production, mixing, instrumentalists, cover art, and promotion. I'm hoping to raise $7,000 to bring this project to life.

I know that sounds like a lot, but I serve a God who does impossible things daily.
