Emily’s Fund

Hi all!! Emily is 8 years old and was burned in a gas can explosion when she was 1 years old, 58% of her body 3rd degree. Emily has grown into such a beautiful person with a sassy attitude and is full of life! She’s growing up and is more aware of things now. She loves to play with make up and pretend brush her hair. Emily will never be able to regrow her hair, as the burns were very severe to her head. Last year I, her mom Amy, cut about 10 inches off of my hair, that I grew specifically for this reason….to make her a wig!! We have been trying really hard to find someone to make a custom wig from my hair and we have finally found someone! https://www.caringandcomfort.com/

Ilana has gone over everything we need to do to make this happen! We will take measurements of Emily’s head, send in my hair, and add any extras like a pony cap, etc. The silver plan cost starts at 1750.00 with sending in my hair, adding the pony cap, and other necessities, we are looking at close to 2000.00 for the wig. However, I’ve been asked many times on ways people can donate for other things for Emily, so we can use this for that as well! I would love to get the wig done by July 23rd which is her 9th birthday! We will present it to her and post a video on Facebook! We will be telling her this is a gift from all her sweet Boldly Pray Family!!
