Emily's Career Leap: Your Help Needed

Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, I recently accepted a job at the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff Archaeological Research Station, beginning September 1st. U of A has been generous in offering some relocation funds; however, my biggest expense for this move will be my current lease buyout.

I am reaching out to you all because I need a little help to make this transition smoother. The lease buyout for my current apartment is quite substantial, and combined with moving costs, it exceeds the relocation funds provided by the University of Arkansas.

For the past six years, I have been a graduate student working hard to finish my PhD. This has not allowed me to save a lot of money, making this move a bit more challenging financially. This new position is a significant step in my career, and I am incredibly excited about the opportunities it presents.
