Emily Robinson is racing the 2023 Jr Iditarod! Emily has a very competitive 2023 race season planned. She plans to run the Alpine Creek 65, the Willow 150, the Yukon Quest 80, the Willow Jr 100 and the Jr Iditarod 150. 2023 will be an exciting year of racing, and you can help Emily and her team!

Meet the musher: Emily grew up in Alaska with a kennel of Alaskan Huskies in her front yard. She loved the dogs and played with the puppies. Soon, Emily started running the dogs with her dad and fell in love with mushing. As she got bigger, so did her team of dogs, and at 12, Emily was dreaming of running the Jr Iditarod. She and her dogs trained hard for two years to prepare for the race. Finally, in 2022 Emily made her dream a reality and raced her first Jr Iditarod. She won the race by 6 seconds! It was a fantastic accomplishment and one she worked very hard to achieve.

This year Emily is 15 and focused. She has big goals for her racing season and works daily to meet them. Go Emily!

Emily loves her dogs and training with her team. However, feeding and caring for the dogs daily takes time and money and racing competitively adds extra expenses. Dog food is our biggest expense and costs over $12,000 for the winter season. Emily so appreciates any help you can send her way! Thank you!
