Emily Weaver medical fund
Donation protected
Emily Weaver has been battling illness for over 6 years now. It started with fatigue and has gone undiagnosed for almost 6 years. Her symptoms have worsened over time. This past summer her symptoms worsened and she now can no longer play soccer which is her dream to play in college. She has been clinically diagnosed with lyme disease and has many complications from this including joint pain, extreme fatigue, brain fog, GI issues, and so much more. This disease has slowly began to become debilitating. We have the opportunity to go to Germany for a 2 week treatment program that will cost close to $25,000.00 in total if not more. Emily's medical bills have escalated to approximately $3-4000 per month and will continue with all her recovery medical needs over the next few years. We are most likely going to try to sell our house and downsize to continue to meet her monthly medical bills but still need to raise money in order to make this treatment happen in Germany for Emily and to have hope for her future. It is humbling to ask family and friends for donations, but if you know Emily - she is the sweetest girl in the world and so worth it. Emily will also have many months and even years of rehab. and detoxification costs when we return. The treatment kills the Lyme disease bacteria, but then begins the process of healing from all the internal damage in the body as well as getting all the toxins out of the body. some other successful stories with this treatment have taken several years for complete recovery due to the extensive damage to the body from Lyme. Emily symptoms have worsened since July 2019 and we are looking to get her the medical care that she needs now and in the years to come of recovery. Thank you to all of our family and friends for continuous prayers. Feel free to contact me (Amy Weaver) directly with any questions.
