Support Emily & Trevor's IVF Fund

Hi friends & family,

We are starting a GoFund Me to help us with the costs of IVF. Those of you who know me well know that I have dreamed of having a family of my own since I was very young and helping my mom run an in home daycare. Every job I have had involved working with children and families, including babysitting, teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding at the community pool, tutoring in an elementary school and now working as a school counselor. Trevor and I have dreamed of starting our own family since we started dating. After trying for a year we saw fertility specialists and sadly learned it is not possible for us to conceive a child naturally. We have gone through 3 rounds of IUI, which unfortunately all failed. Due to our unique infertility situation, our last option is invitrofertilization(IVF), which is not covered by our health insurance. The IVF cycle will cost an estimated $23,000 not including medication which can cost up to $8,500. We are extremely grateful for any contribution towards helping us with our dream of becoming parents. I appreciate this GoFundMe platform but they do take a percentage.
