Our dear friend and coworker, Emily, is facing one of the most challenging times of her life. Due to serious high risk pregnancy complications with her third baby, Emily has had to seek specialized care out of state. This has meant countless hours of travel time, time away from home, and inability for Emily to work since mid-August. As you can imagine, the emotional and physical toll has been heavy - along with the financial burden as well. Right now, the focus needs to be on keeping Emily and baby boy safe and healthy. To help ease the weight of medical bills, travel expenses, and loss of income, we are asking for some support from anyone willing and able to contribute. Every donation will go directly to Emily and their family, so let's show them just how much we love them. Emily has always been someone who shows kindness, strength, and generosity for those around her. Now it's our turn to surround her with that same love and support.

Update 10/29: Emily has made it to 35 weeks pregnant! She has accrued a lot of out of network medical bills so far along with her having to pay her emergency medical flight out of pocket. She has been able to be back to work some on intermittent FMLA leave but in the next 2 weeks when she has her baby, she will be back on total FMLA leave and baby will be requiring specialized out of network care when he is born.
