Emily McIntire is one of the kindest, most caring nurses that our team could ever be blessed with. Over the weekend, she very suddenly and unexpectedly lost her fiance, her soulmate, Jeff, to complications from a recent health condition. Most of us here at Strive Health may recognize her face, and her story, as she shared her experience with kidney donation. She stepped up as an anonymous kidney donor on behalf of Jeff (who was her diaylsis patient at the time), and was part of a pair donation exchange. Once Jeff learned about her bravery and self-less act of kindness, he was blown away. They became friends, and eventually that friendship evolved into a proposal in the Fall of 2022. They had plans...they were supposed to go on their 1st major trip together to Morroco this month. They were supposed to be planning their wedding this fall in October.

Emily is a giver. She gives her time, her knowledge, and her support to not only her patients, but also her teammates. She embodies every core value here at Strive Health.
